1. Who we are
LR AgroSense is an AgriTech business based in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, India, run as a sole proprietorship by Pampana Hari Sai Ganesh and registered as an MSME (Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-AP-19-0077611). In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean LR AgroSense. This policy explains what personal information we collect through lragrosense.in, why we collect it and how we protect it.
2. Information we collect
When you apply for an internship, we collect the details you enter in the application form:
- Full name, email address and phone/WhatsApp number
- College or university, course, year of study and city
- Your resume (an uploaded PDF or Word file, or a link you provide)
- Your LinkedIn profile link and your answer to "Why do you want to join?" (if provided)
If you take an AI interview (only shortlisted applicants are invited), we save the questions asked and your answers as text. Your voice is turned into text by your own web browser; we do not record or store any audio. We also save an AI-generated summary and score of the interview for our team.
When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write to us.
Technical information: like most websites, our hosting providers may automatically record basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit, for security and to keep the website working. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking/analytics tools.
3. How we use your information
- To review your internship application and contact you about it
- To run AI interviews for shortlisted applicants and help our team review them
- To get an AI-assisted first review of applications (a score and short notes) that helps our team decide whom to shortlist — a person always makes the decision
- To send you emails about your application (confirmation, interview invite and result)
- To manage the internship if you are selected (communication, tasks, certificates)
- To reply to your questions and messages
- To protect the website from spam and misuse
We use your information only for these purposes. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Your consent
By submitting the internship application form, you consent to us processing your information as described in this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us (see section 8). Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already done, but it may mean we can no longer consider your application.
5. Where your information is stored and who can see it
Your application and resume are stored in a secure cloud database (MongoDB Atlas). Our website is hosted on GitHub Pages and our application server runs on Render. These service providers, and our email service (Brevo or Resend) that sends emails about your application, store or process data on our behalf, may store it on servers outside India, and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.
AI interviews and AI-assisted application reviews are run using Google's Gemini AI service. Your interview answers and application details (such as name, college, course and your answers in the form) are sent to Google to generate the interview questions and a summary. Depending on the plan we use, Google may also use this data to improve its services under its own terms. The AI summary only helps our team; a person always makes the final selection decision.
Inside LR AgroSense, only the founder (and any team member who needs it to review applications) can see your application, through a password-protected admin portal.
We may share information if required by law or by a valid order of a court or government authority.
6. How long we keep it
We keep internship applications for up to 12 months after the internship's selection process ends, so we can contact you about future openings. If you become an intern, we keep basic records (name, role, dates, certificate details) for as long as needed to verify your internship later. After that, we delete your information. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
7. How we protect it
We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, a password-protected admin area, checks on uploaded files and limits against spam. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly if a problem occurs.
8. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct or update your information
- Delete your information
- Withdraw your consent

9. Age
Our internships and application form are meant for people aged 18 or above. If you are under 18, please do not submit the form. If we learn that we have received information from someone under 18, we will delete it.
10. Farmer information collected by interns
When our interns survey farmers, they collect only farming information (such as crops, irrigation and soil practices) after explaining the purpose and getting the farmer's permission. We do not collect farmers' Aadhaar, bank or other sensitive identity details, and survey results are used only for research to improve our products.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. Important changes will be shown on this page.
